Designed for cabinets with hinged doors, it’s a beautifully simple unit that uses ball bearing runners to slide in and out easily. Like many of our models for hinged door cabinets, this unit comes fully assembled, ready to be simply fixed to the cabinet floor through the ‘legs’ of the steel frame. This style of product is a self-contained unit (not fixed to the cabinet sides) which means it can be fitted into larger cabinets, too, perhaps fixed toward one side so you can use the rest of the cabinet for other storage. As another example of the flexibility in positioning this style of bin, it can be possible to fit two of these bins for 300mm cabinets into one 600mm hinged door cabinet: fitting two of these Big Boy 40L bins side by side creates a really generous 80-litre recycling station. These bins are also designed with a sturdy lid that sits on top of the frame, making it a useful shelf for liners and other products. This bin is a single-compartment unit with a 40L capacity, which is high for bins in this category. While it doesn’t have multiple compartments for recycling, the single-compartment design is super easy to empty, making it a great general waste bin. Wesco Big Bio Double If you want a solution to separate out general waste and recycling, you might want to consider a two-compartment kitchen bin. The Wesco Big Bio Double is a model designed for a similar space to the Big Boy but with two compartments instead of one. Our latest addition to our in-cupboard range continues our quest for the best and we are delighted to bring you Tecnoinox, the ultimate in built-in bins. Why are Tecnoinox bins so special? Firstly, they are manufactured in Italy and are closely related to a range of top-end professional kitchen equipment, used by the best restaurants and chefs. This relationship to sleek steel and aluminium chef’s kitchens informs the design of the Tecnoinox bins, which are unique in featuring inner bin containers made from aluminium for durability and structural stability in use.  Using aluminium for the inner containers also allows the creation of the largest capacity single compartment in any in-cupboard bin that we know. This is a huge 72 litres and the bin itself is precision made with double walled construction, a smart dark grey coating, rounded external corners for safety plus a pair of metal handles. The second unique feature of the Tecnoinox bins, and one which provides a solution to an issue we are often asked about, is the patented aluminium lid design. The lid is unique in that it moves. More specifically it lifts up (from a rear pivot) when the cabinet door is opened, but even more importantly it closes down onto the top of the bin when the door is closed. There is a rubber-like layer on the underside of the lid and when this rests onto the top of the bin unit it forms a light but effective seal to close the bin contents off and to control odours. In addition to the 72L single compartment bin bin for a 600mm cabinet there is a 70 Litre 2-compartment model and two 3-compartment bins with 89 Litres and 108 Litres capacity respectively.  The Tecnoinox bins are designed so that the bin containers stand in a soft-close drawer. New, exceptionally smooth soft-close runners make the Cargo Synchro range the latest addition to the Hailo Synchro Range of in-cupboard bins, with the premium design and build quality our customers love. While five of the models are designed to potentially fit under sinks, two other new models are taller but bring large capacity single compartments into your choice of options. Here is the new the Hailo Synchro range explained. New single compartment, 55 litre extra large pull-out bin Our selection of Cargo Synchro bins includes a brand new and very useful configuration: a single extra large 55 litre inner container, with a fitted height of 544mm, for cabinets with an external width of 450mm; internal width 412-418mm. This huge capacity in a single inner bin has been asked for by our customers for years and we are pleased to bring it to you. Two fitted in two 450mm cabinets would get storage of recycling and waste for a large family sorted. Hailo Cargo Synchro Single Compartment 55L Bin. The second single compartment CArgo Synchro model has one inner bin of 30 litre capacity, for cabinets with an external width of 300mm (internal width 262-268mm). Hailo Cargo Synchro Single Compartment 30 Litre bin. All of the Cargo Synchro bins have a neat fitted depth of 405mm, so can fit in front of pipework or where you have a shorter depth unit. New range for under sinks or drawers The other five Cargo Synchro bins in our range are designed with sink units in mind, with an installed height of 424mm and an installed depth of just 405mm. The bins are available from 450 to 600 mm cabinets (measured across the door) with a side wall thickness of 16 to 19 mm: the fitting is self-adjusting. Of course all sink installations are different, but if you have a minimum of 424mm height under your sink and pipework you should be able to fit these models. If you can specify the sink plumbing early enough in your fit-out, asking your plumber to position the U Bend toward the back of the cabinet will also make it more possible to fit these 405mm deep bins, because they are designed with the potential to fit in front of pipework as well as below it.
